The washable nursing pads from HappyBear come in a set of 10 pieces, along with a handy washing net and a lockable bag. The washable nursing pads are compact, comfortable, soft and do not rub on sensitive nipples. With a diameter of 10 centimeters, the washable nursing pads are not too big so that you can wear them discreetly under the bra. They are large enough to absorb sufficiently, so that you do not suffer from annoying stains in your clothes.

How should you use HappyBear washable breast pads?

1. Make sure your nipple is dry before applying a clean pad. If your nipples are irritated, apply a nipple cream first.
2. Place the nursing pads in the cup of your bra. Since the pads do not have an adhesive strip like many disposable nursing pads, make sure the pad is snug between your chest and your bra. Place it as central as possible on your nipple.
3. Reusable breast pads are usually thicker than disposable ones. They can therefore be more noticeable if you wear thin clothes. You can choose to wear a padded bra.
4. Change the nursing pads if they feel wet and put them in the supplied washing net. Do not leave wet nursing pads in a sealed bag for too long.

Washing instructions

Wash the used nursing pads in the supplied washing nets at a maximum of 40 degrees Celsius. The washable nursing pads must not be tumble dried. Do not use fabric softeners, they can reduce the absorbency. Make sure the washable nursing pads are completely dried before using them again.

Do not wash the breast pads with your dirty diapers!

How many breast pads do I need?

We sell our washable nursing pads per 10 pieces. This is sufficient for most mothers, but we know from experience that many women like to have an extra set when the other nursing pads are in the wash.

Can I use the washable nursing pads immediately?

Before using for the first time, wash the washable nursing pads to remove any loose fibers. The more often the nursing pads are washed, the better they absorb.

What material are the washable nursing pads made of?

HappyBear washable nursing pads are made from 4-layer fabric. The outside is made of a breathable and waterproof PUL, the absorbent core is made of 2-layers microfibre and the inside is made of a comfortable bamboo fabric.
