Like many other companies, Petit Lulu was born from a shortage of washable diapers and alternatives on the market. Lucie had her first child in 2012 together with husband Lukas. Despite the fact that she had no experience behind the sewing machine, she still made almost all of her stuff herself for her son. Everyone around her soon fell in love with her washable diapers.

What started with curiosity quickly turned into a thriving company. At first she placed her products on a website in the Czech Republic to see if it would work out. Not much later, she employed her husband as a graphic designer, website designer and technical designer.

Now the company is still growing. The company is based in Jablonec nad Nisou in the Czech Republic. From here the diapers are sent to Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium and even more European countries. No less than 70% of their production goes abroad.

Overpants

The overpants from Petit Lulu are known for their soft fleece edges. This will reduce the chance of stretch marks in your child. By the way, make sure that the diaper is not in contact with the fleece edges, as this can still cause a leak. We have the covers at Kidzstore in two different sizes. The onesize that can be carried from 4 to about 15 kg. The cover can then be adjusted to the correct size by means of the press studs on the front. There is also one XL variant of available. Wool pants

The wool pants from Petit Lulu are made of two-layer Merino wool. You must use this before use lanolize. The lanolinization makes the wool waterproof. This way your child has a wonderful comfort when wearing wool pants and you have the certainty against leaks. Merino wool is anti-bacterial in itself and does not retain unpleasant odors. The advantage of wool pants is that they are wonderfully soft for your child and that it only needs to be washed when it has become dirty due to faeces. It is often recommended to wash and re-lanolize the pants once every 30 days. At Petit Lulu they have placed the seams of the wool pants on the outside. They have done this purely for a little extra comfort for the little one.

Pull-up pants

At Petit Lulu they also have one pull-up pants developed. Perfect for the kids who like to play with the Velcro or with the snaps. The pull-up pants are also great for active and busy children. This one also comes with lovely soft fleece edges to guarantee comfort. The pull-up pants are made of a waterproof material to prevent leaks. These are available in three different sizes and always come in fun cheerful prints.
